He first successfully launched Black Reflections Magazine at eighteen years of age over 33years ago.  He is a veteran broadcast television professional, creative entrepreneur, publisher, producer, and tech developer. He is the author of TheiFilm Digital Video Filmmaker’s Handbook and most recently the My Documentary Development Journal. Maxie D. Collier is the producer and director of Paper Chasers, the documentary on hip-hop entrepreneurship starring Ludacris, Daymond John, Fat Joe and others which was co-produced with the Independent Film Channel, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and streamed on the IFC and Netflix.
